Healthcare rights of migrants
Asylum seekers: Can access primary health care on the same level as Austrian citizens.
Refugees: Can access medical care at the same level as Austrian citizens.
Undocumented migrants: Can access emergency care in return for full payment of costs.
HIV testing and treatment
Testing: Testing is free and anonymous for all. It can be done at one of the 7 AIDS-hilfe organisations. Use the European test finder to see where you can get tested for HIV.
Treatment: Treatment is available for those that are insured. For those that are uninsured, treatment may be obtained among specific NGOs and doctors.
