Desde sobreviver a quase dois anos de pandemia, a trabalhar a partir de casa, a ver os nossos entes queridos falecerem, a educar os nossos filhos em casa ou a licenciar-se virtualmente, \u00e9 certo que nenhum de n\u00f3s esperava que nada disto acontecesse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-buenk\">No entanto, apesar de todas as mudan\u00e7as que ocorreram, aqui estamos n\u00f3s, adaptando-nos progressivamente \u00e0s nossas novas vidas. H\u00e1 um ditado popular que diz que \"quando a vida nos atira lim\u00f5es, fazemos limonada\". E foi exatamente isso que fizemos, fizemos a nossa pr\u00f3pria limonada personalizada e a adapta\u00e7\u00e3o foi o ingrediente perfeito para lidar com todos os desafios que nos foram lan\u00e7ados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-137u8\">Uma das formas de nos adaptarmos foi atrav\u00e9s da utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o da telemedicina, que permitiu a muitos especialistas de sa\u00fade de todo o mundo encontrar novas formas de prestar servi\u00e7os de qualidade aos seus doentes, mesmo \u00e0 dist\u00e2ncia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-2ihmh\">Para quem n\u00e3o est\u00e1 familiarizado com este termo, a telemedicina consiste na utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de plataformas de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o como o Zoom, Facetime ou Whatsapp para permitir que os m\u00e9dicos acompanhem virtualmente a sa\u00fade e as necessidades dos seus pacientes, forne\u00e7am diagn\u00f3sticos e at\u00e9 prescrevam medicamentos quando necess\u00e1rio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-52a8s\">Embora a telemedicina n\u00e3o seja uma pr\u00e1tica totalmente nova, ganhou imensa popularidade desde o in\u00edcio da pandemia, e por um grande n\u00famero de raz\u00f5es. De facto, n\u00e3o s\u00f3 ajudou a reduzir a exposi\u00e7\u00e3o ao v\u00edrus da COVID-19, limitando as visitas dos doentes aos hospitais \u00e0 estrita necessidade, como tamb\u00e9m ajudou a reduzir os longos tempos de espera, a compensar a falta de pessoal e de material hospitalar devido \u00e0 sobrelota\u00e7\u00e3o de doentes positivos para a COVID-19 e a permitir que as pessoas que vivem em locais mais desfavorecidos e desertificados acedam aos servi\u00e7os de sa\u00fade sem terem de incorrer em custos de desloca\u00e7\u00e3o elevados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-95uo5\">Uma das formas em que a telemedicina se revelou extremamente \u00fatil foi atrav\u00e9s da presta\u00e7\u00e3o de servi\u00e7os de cuidados mentais \u00e0 dist\u00e2ncia. Para muitos de n\u00f3s, os desafios que vivemos este ano foram inigual\u00e1veis, o que, infelizmente, pode ter afetado muito a nossa sa\u00fade mental e a forma como interagimos com colegas, filhos, parceiros rom\u00e2nticos e at\u00e9 connosco pr\u00f3prios. Encontrar formas de nos mantermos firmes, de desenvolvermos uma maior auto-consci\u00eancia e de nos mantermos s\u00e3os e positivos tem sido um pr\u00e9-requisito importante para a nossa adapta\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-3desc\">Enquanto para alguns de n\u00f3s a manuten\u00e7\u00e3o da sanidade mental era conseguida individualmente, atrav\u00e9s de actividades como a medita\u00e7\u00e3o, o desporto ou a pastelaria, para outros era necess\u00e1ria a ajuda de um profissional. O que torna isto mais emocionante \u00e9 que, com apenas uma liga\u00e7\u00e3o, um dispositivo eletr\u00f3nico e uma boa liga\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 Internet, qualquer pessoa pode obter a ajuda de que necessita numa fra\u00e7\u00e3o de segundo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-9u682\">A telemedicina \u00e9 um exemplo perfeito do poder de adapta\u00e7\u00e3o e da forma como pode permitir-nos responder melhor ao nosso mundo em constante mudan\u00e7a e \u00e0s nossas necessidades divergentes enquanto seres humanos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-aepmv\">Quer se trate de encontrar formas de reduzir os longos tempos de espera, de limitar as possibilidades de exposi\u00e7\u00e3o a um v\u00edrus ou de prestar apoio mental e assist\u00eancia aos que dela necessitam, a maior li\u00e7\u00e3o que podemos retirar desta situa\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 que, como tudo na vida, tamb\u00e9m os cuidados de sa\u00fade requerem ADAPTA\u00c7\u00c3O. Adapta\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0s diferentes necessidades dos doentes, adapta\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0s mudan\u00e7as dos nossos tempos e adapta\u00e7\u00e3o a tudo o que possa prejudicar a sua efici\u00eancia e acessibilidade.
