{"id":64,"date":"2022-04-20T08:51:34","date_gmt":"2022-04-20T07:51:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mihealth.418staging.co.uk\/?p=64"},"modified":"2024-06-13T14:54:00","modified_gmt":"2024-06-13T13:54:00","slug":"guia-para-reduzir-o-risco-de-contrair-o-vih-dia-mundial-da-sida","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mihealtheurope.org\/pt\/reduce-hiv-risk-guide-world-aids-day\/","title":{"rendered":"Dia Mundial da Sida: Eis como reduzir o risco de contrair o VIH (um guia da OMS)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"viewer-2snhk\">No Dia Mundial de Luta contra a SIDA, que se celebra todos os anos a 1 de dezembro, a OMS divulgou <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CW7xGVCjXKX\/?utm_medium=share_sheet\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><u>um breve guia<\/u><\/a> com 5 recomenda\u00e7\u00f5es sobre como reduzir o risco de contrair o VIH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-f99h2\">Explic\u00e1mos estas recomenda\u00e7\u00f5es mais detalhadamente abaixo e esperamos que possam ser \u00fateis para qualquer pessoa curiosa sobre como praticar sexo seguro e reduzir o risco de contrair o VIH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-fq17k\"><strong><u>Utilizar preservativos<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-7b8ti\">A utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de preservativos \u00e9 considerada como uma das formas mais seguras de prevenir o VIH e outras infec\u00e7\u00f5es sexualmente transmiss\u00edveis. Os preservativos s\u00e3o baratos, eficazes e de f\u00e1cil acesso. Embora n\u00e3o eliminem completamente o risco de contrair o VIH, os preservativos s\u00e3o altamente eficazes na maioria dos casos, pois impedem a passagem de fluidos entre os parceiros, limitando assim o risco de infe\u00e7\u00e3o. Existem preservativos para homens e mulheres, sendo que os primeiros s\u00e3o usados no p\u00e9nis e os segundos s\u00e3o usados dentro da vagina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-8f59h\"><strong><u>Assegurar-se de que os seus parceiros que vivem com o VIH est\u00e3o a fazer tratamento<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-3uiqb\">Embora ainda n\u00e3o exista nenhum medicamento que possa erradicar o VIH, o v\u00edrus pode ser controlado com a utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de medicamentos antivirais. Estes medicamentos ajudam a baixar o n\u00edvel de VIH no sangue (chamado carga viral) e noutros fluidos corporais, como o s\u00e9men e os fluidos anal e vaginal. Se forem tomados de forma correta e consistente, esses n\u00edveis podem tornar-se indetect\u00e1veis. De acordo com o CDC, considera-se que uma carga viral indetet\u00e1vel \u00e9 inferior a 200 c\u00f3pias por mililitro (mL) de sangue. Se o seu parceiro for seropositivo, \u00e9 importante garantir que ele toma os medicamentos de forma correta e consistente. O apoio que d\u00e1 a um parceiro seropositivo \u00e9 particularmente crucial, uma vez que o motiva a manter-se atento \u00e0 sua sa\u00fade e, ao mesmo tempo, reduz o risco de transmiss\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-ofhq\"><strong><u>Utilizar a PrEP para prevenir a infe\u00e7\u00e3o pelo VIH se o risco for permanente, incluindo durante a gravidez<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-7l9u2\"><a href=\"https:\/\/mihealtheurope.org\/pt\/sensibilizacao-previa-para-os-migrantes-2024\/\">PrEP, ou profilaxia pr\u00e9-exposi\u00e7\u00e3o<\/a>\u00e9 um medicamento preventivo utilizado para evitar a contra\u00e7\u00e3o do VIH. Para as mulheres que est\u00e3o gr\u00e1vidas, a tentar engravidar ou a amamentar, a PrEP tamb\u00e9m pode ser um m\u00e9todo eficaz para as proteger a elas e ao seu beb\u00e9 de contrair o VIH. Tomado uma vez por dia, este medicamento impede o VIH de infetar as c\u00e9lulas do sistema imunit\u00e1rio. Reduz o risco de contrair o VIH atrav\u00e9s de rela\u00e7\u00f5es sexuais em mais de 90%, e em 70% para as pessoas que injectam drogas. Este medicamento \u00e9 particularmente \u00fatil para as pessoas que n\u00e3o t\u00eam VIH mas que correm o risco de o contrair, como as pessoas que t\u00eam rela\u00e7\u00f5es sexuais com parceiros seropositivos com cargas detect\u00e1veis ou cujo estatuto \u00e9 desconhecido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-e889j\">Para garantir um regime de PrEP eficaz, \u00e9 essencial fazer o rastreio do VIH antes de iniciar os medicamentos e, posteriormente, de tr\u00eas em tr\u00eas meses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-dgjlm\">\u00c9 importante notar, no entanto, que a PrEP:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Come\u00e7a a fazer efeito uma a tr\u00eas semanas ap\u00f3s o in\u00edcio da medica\u00e7\u00e3o<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>N\u00e3o \u00e9 t\u00e3o eficaz para o sexo anal como \u00e9 para o sexo vaginal<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>N\u00e3o protege contra todas as ISTs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-3rep4\">Por conseguinte, \u00e9 altamente recomend\u00e1vel continuar a utilizar um preservativo para reduzir mais eficazmente o risco de contrair o VIH e as IST.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-dolq3\"><strong>Utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de agulhas e seringas esterilizadas para todas as injec\u00e7\u00f5es<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-cdalt\">Quer seja para uma inje\u00e7\u00e3o m\u00e9dica ou para a inje\u00e7\u00e3o de drogas, \u00e9 crucial evitar partilhar agulhas e seringas com qualquer pessoa, uma vez que isso aumenta o risco de contrair o VIH e outras infec\u00e7\u00f5es presentes no sangue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-d5r26\">A partilha de agulhas ou a utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de agulhas n\u00e3o esterilizadas \u00e9 altamente desaconselhada, uma vez que, atrav\u00e9s da inje\u00e7\u00e3o, pode haver res\u00edduos de sangue nas agulhas ou seringas. Se as mesmas agulhas ou seringas tiverem sido utilizadas por uma pessoa infetada com VIH, existe um risco elevado de inje\u00e7\u00e3o de sangue infetado com VIH na corrente sangu\u00ednea e, consequentemente, de transmiss\u00e3o da infe\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-b51bi\">Para quem tiver dificuldade em aceder a novas agulhas ou seringas, note-se que, em alguns pa\u00edses, \u00e9 poss\u00edvel trocar as agulhas usadas por novas gratuitamente nas farm\u00e1cias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-dp5qg\"><strong><u>Fazer o teste e tratamento de infec\u00e7\u00f5es sexualmente transmiss\u00edveis<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-ck7sl\">Para manter o controlo da sua sa\u00fade e evitar a propaga\u00e7\u00e3o do VIH e das IST, \u00e9 crucial fazer o teste regularmente. Para as pessoas sexualmente activas, recomenda-se a realiza\u00e7\u00e3o de testes de 3 em 3 meses e\/ou entre cada parceiro.
