Direitos dos migrantes em matéria de cuidados de saúde
Requerentes de asilo Are entitled to free health insurance while their application is being reviewed. Persons who have no right to remain in the territory, including rejected asylum seekers, benefit from the PUMA for six months after the end of validity of the asylum claim certification. After this period, State Medical Aid (AME) enables them to receive free treatments in hospitals as well as in any doctors’ office. Individuals with low income who are still awaiting health insurance and need healthcare quickly can go to the All-Day Healthcare Centres (PASS) at their nearest public hospital.
Refugiados Have the same rights to access the medical system as French citizens and legal residents.
Migrantes indocumentados Due to universal healthcare, undocumented migrants can access the same healthcare benefits as French nationals through the State Medical Assistance (AME), including emergency care, paediatric care, dental care and maternity care.

Tratamento: Free for all people who have been in France for more than three months. Undocumented migrants also need to have an income of less than 700 euros per month.
