I Have Rights

I Have Rights (IHR) is a non-profit refugee law clinic on Samos. Since beginning operation in March 2022, IHR has provided legal counselling and representation to over 820 asylum seekers and provided legal information to around 1,500 people through their information hotline. IHR closely monitors and documents human rights violations against asylum seekers on Samos, and in particular has published various reports on the Samos Closed Controlled Access Centre. IHR engages in advocacy and strategic litigation, including with stakeholders at the Council or Europe, EU and UN. IHR is a member of the Border Violence Monitoring Network.
