طالبو اللجوء Have full access to the public health care system. They are entitled to the same level of health care as nationals, including access to specialised treatment for persons who have suffered torture, severe physical or psychological abuses or traumatising circumstances.
اللاجئون: Are entitled to the same health care rights as nationals.
المهاجرون غير الموثقين: Are covered by the national health service if they are registered as residents of the municipality. However, they can only access emergency, maternity and pediatric care, although many Spanish doctors and nurses continue to treat them. Undocumented migrants are required to reimburse 40% of the cost of medicines prescribed to them.

Testing: Testing is free in certain places, mainly in medium to large cities. Access is limited in rural areas. Use the European test finder to see where you can get tested for HIV.
Treatment: Treatment is free for all, although access is limited for those that are undocumented.

Salud Entre Culturas
Salud Entre Culturas (SEC) is a multidisciplinary public health and migration team.
Objectives:
- To inform a particularly vulnerable group, from a medical and social point of view, about the most relevant infectious diseases and thus enable them to adopt preventive behaviors and reduce stigmatizing attitudes.
- To train NGO volunteer and professional staff to achieve effective communication in order to transmit health information to the immigrant population.
- Promote early diagnosis of HIV and Chagas disease.
- To train health personnel in the management of cultural diversity.
- To offer a service of intercultural mediation and linguistic interpretation in the health field
